That's weird

I learned a lot of things in college: drinking, socializing with the opposite sex, how to speak to different kinds people, how to look busy while BSing..one of THE most interesting things I've learned though is that while growing up I was stuck in this one Carson/Filipino/Hip hop way of living that I was oblivious that there were actually other people out there. I mean I was aware, but I wasn't really part or in any other culture. 

Anyway, I thought it was weird/interesting that the new Spiderman is gonna be half Black and Hispanic. I guess I've been conditioned to envision that our heros are supposed to look a certain way *ahem* ("Even my conditioning has been conditioned!!").

 On my musical and entrepreneurial conquest, it dawned on me that the world probably looks at myself in the same way; "This Asian dude is out here trying to hip hop/rap it up.....THAT'S WEIRD!!". 

That's weird.....or is it cool? I've got a whole other post saved for what exactly the word cool means but I'll save it for another day.
