I'm in the building!!
Wow God is good!! So this semester you'll find me on Hollywood Blvd. and Vine on tuesdays and Fridays 9-5. I'm excited!! Anyhow, it's kinda crazy that I'm actually, doing it and living my dreams (corny as that may sound)..but hey i'm trying!!
Since i left high school it feels like i've been going 1000 miles an hour trying to achieve my goals "make things happen" as i like to say, but seeing as I'm now a little older, I'm making a conscious effort from now on to "stop and smell the roses". I still have a long way to go, but i've come a long way, man.
I was watching the NFL network - I think it was entitled the boys of fall - but it was a documentary about kids that play football and how some go on from high school ball, to college, and to the pros. There was this one dude that spoke - i'm paraphrasing - and he said that as a football player he was always looking ahead; from high school he envisioned himself as a college player, as a college player he was looking ahead to the pros and so on.
My point is that I guess in life we all get caught up trying to do this and that and trying to be here and there that in the process we forget to be thankful for what we have. To all my people reading, don't take life too seriously. Enjoy it and put yourself in position to be blessed...and you will, like me!!!
Next on my agenda: gym, St. Philomena festival, then songwriting/beatmaking
